当時、写植で一大勢力を誇っていた写研はいち早くAppleへFONTを配給したモリサワに大きく水を開けられ、いまはすっかり昔話のようになっています。
　当時写植を打っていた人たちも残らず消えて行きました。その方々はこのままでは仕事が無くなると一生懸命Macintoshを憶えようとしていました。でもすっかり写植機が自分の手のように動かせるようになったおじさんにはマウスでベジェ曲線を引く等なかなか憶えられません。僕は当時駆け出しデザイナーだったのですが版下担当の方にIllustratorを教えたりしたものでした。
　ここから先はDTPへと変化して行きます。
