現場の教員たちは、「指導」という言葉をつかわない。「支援」するというのだ。また、生徒が「授業をうける」という表現もこのまれない。「学習をする」というのだ。生徒が「主体性」をもって課題にとりくみ、答えを「発見する」というタテマエをとる。だから、生徒に知識をおしえてあげること（この「あげる」という表現も忌避される）は、愚の骨頂とされる。もちろん、知識しかない人間は問題だ。しかし、知識がまったくない子ども（「子供」とかかない。子供は「お供えもの」じゃないんだから、だって！）に、思考することを要求しても思考できるのか。というのがわたしの日本の教育にたいする2011年も末の最大のギモンである。
